Bring Faith to Life with Wall Art – 3 reasons

When I visit other homes, one of the things I love to do is study the art they have on their walls. I find it fascinating to see what people pick and to ask why. I tend not to see my own wall art after a while as it becomes part of the background. But visitors look with fresh eyes, and this can trigger great conversations. The more eye-catching the art, the better!

This is why I feel drawn to move beyond just digital word art and add a personal touch to my design. I want my eye to be drawn to the scripture verses in the picture to remind me to stop in the middle of my busy day and meditate on the Word.

Here are three reasons to fill your house with Scripture Wall Art:

1. Nurturing Faith: Scripture verses, iconic symbols, and scenes from the Bible can serve as constant visual prayers, sparking moments of reflection and gratitude throughout the day.

2. Fostering Inspiration: Uplifting quotes, hymns, and artwork depicting hope, love, and perseverance can offer encouragement and strength during challenging times.

3. Creating Conversation Starters: Unique and thought-provoking pieces can catalyse meaningful conversations about faith with loved ones, fostering deeper connections.

I like to experiment with using different mediums for my family’s art. Posters are the cheapest option, although I like to include a frame for your convenience. When I discovered our Printer offered an option to print directly onto wood, I became excited as we love wood in our family (my husband is a woodworker).

Printing onto wood adds another texture and feel to the art, which is semi-transparent so you can still see the wood grain underneath. One thing to keep in mind is that our printer uses plywood so you can see the layers on the side of the canvas.

I will be designing a few more canvas pieces, because I love the feel of canvas (and the way it smells when it comes fresh from the printers!). Keep an eye out on our social media feeds to see when I add more.
